One of our favorite fall family traditions is visiting the pumpkin patch. I have pictures of my kiddos by the measurement scarecrow each year… now they are 8 and 9 years old… my have they grown! We enjoy hunting for the perfect pumpkin to bring home to carve. Inspired by this annual tradition, I brought the pumpkin patch into my decor!
Our “pumpkin patch” is located in the entry way to our home to welcome our fall guests! To start off the display, I layered an old chippy shutter and my favorite European dough bowl with rusted metal details. I also draped a vintage grain sack for added texture and stacked hay bales to bring height to my “patch”. Metal baskets placed here and there add yet another fun harvest element to the wood and hay. Using pumpkins of various shapes, sizes, and texture, bring visual interest to the display. Last, I used a mossy vine to wrap through the display bringing a splash of green and a slight softening to the pumpkin patch. I also like the way it closely resembles a natural pumpkin vine! Just a couple fun signs were added and there you have a fun indoor pumpkin patch for fall!
